Prepare food order summaries for chef. Chai Tea Latte and Coffee were a barely warm. Over priced and inexperienced staff. Awesome view of the Parksville bay though. Very nice staff and the practice of Covid 19 is perfect. Not particularly impressive level of service. Add to the that the fact that the wait staff must wear masks, thus rendering them unintelligible, it was generally an unpleasant experience. This is our favorite local restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the view because of the smoke outside, but other than that, we had a very good experience. The ocean view and service provided along with the excellent dinner presentations and birthday cake made this an excellent experience for our foursome. The restaurant made a good effort to keep us comfortable during the Covid experience. great access to the ocean, and a Great meal in the Dining room, nice staff. COVID restrictions were cumbersome, but we were impressed with how the hotel managed them, and it felt safe there. Had a restaurant with really good food. For a small fee, we were able to get a room with a gorgeous ocean view. Lounge served awesome foods with generous portions. Staff were exceptionally friendly. We would DEFINITELY stay again. The food was very good and the location is amazing! It could use a touch of colour to make it more welcoming especially at night. Location was great, but the staff were amazing. The property was updated and the rooms very comfortable.
We often meet friends at the Bayside for lunch due to its beach view location, varied menu, good food and consistent service. Prices seem a little high although comparable to other similar local restaurants. We found it quite chilly on our recent visit due to the air conditioning continuing to run in spite of a drop in outdoor temperature. The staff were unable to rectify this although we were offered blankets! He has a passion for using fresh, in-season, high-quality ingredients that speak for themselves to make his incredible dishes.
